Conference Details

Educators from across the state have begun to fully implement the Maryland College and Career Ready Standards for English Language Arts/Literacy and Mathematics.  At last November’s Maryland Assessment Group (MAG) Conference, educators stated that they wanted to be informed about the latest developments from PARCC, but they would also welcome an opportunity to learn from their colleagues across the state about strategies and resources that are working well as they implement the new standards. In addition, 78% of those responding to the conference evaluation indicated they would attend a February 2014 Mini Conference if offered.

To meet the needs of our membership, MAG, in conjunction with the Maryland State Department of Education, is hosting a “mini-MAG” on Friday afternoon, February 28 through Saturday, March 1. The conference will be held at Chesapeake College, located in Wye Mills, Maryland.

CPD forms will be provided at the conclusion of the conference.  Based on your school district's procedures, certificated staff/teachers may be eligible for the following:

Certificated staff/teachers presenting at the conference may be eligible to receive 2 CPD credits.

Certificated staff/teachers attending the conference may be eligible to receive 1 CPD credit.
