 VATD 2015 Assessment Conference

“25 Years: Same Purpose – New Tools”

October 29-30, 2015

VATD is 25 Years Young!  Join us as we celebrate our silver anniversary at a new location. 

We will spend a little time looking back over the past 25 years and have many timely sessions looking forward to the exciting opportunities ahead.

Our keynote speaker, Nancy Doorey, is founder and president of Nancy Doorey Educational Consulting.  Doorey has roots as a classroom teacher and has spent the past 17 years in educational policy and reform at the state and local levels. She worked with Dr. Pat Forgione in launching the K–12 Center at ETS in the summer of 2009, and serves as the Director of Programs.   She is responsible for implementation of a strategic work plan that allows the K–12 Center to anticipate critical measurement issues that are at the heart of the current education reform agenda and to organize the best thinking on these topics to provide timely and useful guidance to state and large district policymakers and assessment professionals.

You will also have a chance to hear directly from the new vendors that VDOE has chosen to provide the tools for Data Informed Instruction.

 Dates and Events:

Wednesday, October 28 - Registration begins at 4:00PM following the VDOE Fall 2015 DDOT Workshop.

Thursday, October 29th (full day) - General Sessions, VDOE presentations, breakout sessions and vendor exhibits.

Friday, October 30th (half day) - Morning sessions; Brunch with speaker.

Participants will have plenty of opportunity to network with colleagues, VDOE, and exhibitors.

Conference Registration Fees

VATD accepts payment by check or purchase order. 

Conference registration fees include all conference meals. 

Payment must be postmarked no later than October 16, 2015 in order to keep the advance registration rate.

After October 16, 2015 registration fees will increase to the onsite rate of $120.00 per person.

Groups of 2 or more (on one invoice) may register using the group registration form Group Registration.

Cancellation fee - on or before October 16, 2015- $35.00. No refunds after October 16, 2015.

Included Meals

Several meals are included in the conference fee.  In order that we have an accurate count, please choose the meals you will attend.  You will receive tickets for the meals you have chosen at the conference.
